A quiet spot between bustling city life and natur

A two room apartment located in a quiet street just off the river in lovely Sagene district (The Saws). This is a green and slow paced area, with independent shops, unassuming cafes, dim as well as sophisticated bars. Within five minutes of walking you ll find a bakery serving fresh produce from 07AM, (also great for office work), several of the cities greatest pizzas (Lofthus and Vesuvio), and a hidden Michelin restaurant (Amor Bar - once a house for girls of the night). The buses and scooters will take you anywhere in the city, however other engaging districts such as bohemian Grünerløkka or Bislett with its bookshops and continental dining is a 15 minute walk away. Down town Oslo major sights such as the Opera and the Much Museum is within a 30min walking distance, and so is the shopping district around Karl Johan and the bustling fjord front at Aker Brygge. If you would like to turn away from the city and towards nature be assured that the city is spilling with public parks, or you can easily jump on a bus (or walk) to visit fresh water "beaches" at Nydalen and Frysja, or take a swim in the fjord at down town Sørenga. Oslo is surrounded by great forests and you can easily reach them for a hike either by cycle or scooter (15-20 min) or by car (10min) or by bus (25 min).
