Near forest reserve, lakes and shops

I had a fantastic five-star stay with Aleksej and would happily recommend swapping with him. Aleksej was really easy to communicate with from the outset, which made the whole exchange smooth and stress-free. On arrival, I was welcomed by his friend Per, who kindly let me into the apartment. We then had a really helpful call with Aleksej, who explained how everything worked, including how to use the shared laundry facilities, which was particularly useful. The apartment itself is bright, airy and comfortable. As I was working during my stay, I especially appreciated having two monitors available, which made working remotely so much easier. The surrounding area is beautiful—a very clean, peaceful estate with plenty of flora and fauna, including fruit that residents are welcome to pick. I particularly enjoyed picking fresh blackcurrants each morning to add to my cereal. There's also a lovely lake just a short walk through the back of the estate. I made good use of the nearby summer bike hire station, about a 10-minute walk away, to cycle downhill into Gothenburg. The ride back is definitely more challenging, but there's a convenient bus from the city centre every 20 minutes that takes around 20 minutes, making it easy to get home. Gothenburg itself is a wonderfully relaxed city, and this swap offered the perfect combination of easy access to the city with nature right on the doorstep. Overall, I had an excellent stay and would highly recommend swapping with Aleksej to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-equipped base in a beautiful setting.
