This cozy and bright 55sq meter apartment is located in the heart of Vienna’s Thaliastraße, a lively and well-connected neighborhood. When setting up the place, the 3 guiding words for us were: cozy, modern, and minimalistic. The apartment features a well-equipped open kitchen, two workstations, a comfortable living area, and a bedroom with direct access to a balcony — perfect for enjoying your morning coffee.
With shops, supermarkets, cafés, and restaurants just around the corner, everything you need is within walking distance. Plus, excellent public transport connections make reaching the city center quick and easy (just 10–15 minutes).

We had the immense pleasure of staying at Micaela and Nikola’s previous apartment in Munich. From the first communication they were super friendly and personable, and not surprisingly they turned out to be gracious hosts as well. We got to do the key exchange in person as they invited us to a dinner that they cooked, and to stay along with them at their apartment for the first night of our swap. From the start it was as if we were meeting old friends–even though up until then we had only met over video calls and chatted over Whatsapp group chat. We found their apartment pristinely clean, tastefully decorated and very organized–they provided all the creature comforts that our 2.5 week stay required, and more! They were as gracious hosts as they were guests. Our apartment in Amsterdam was left super clean. They were also very responsive when unexpectedly our washing machine flooded the laundry room. They took great care to quickly remove everything off the ground and ensure it was cleaned, dried and drained. Anyone would be lucky to swap with them! We can’t wait to do another home swap soon now that they’ve moved to their new home in Vienna!
